A nearly 200 page lookbook covering NYC Queer Muses, captured by Sean Perreira & Photo Chase, in a photo content collection sprint that has resulted in a staggering volume of personal, present, and powerful muses you will never forget, and many of you which you might already know and love.
In only 6 weeks in production, Sean & Chase captured this volume of work in the name of bold and unapologetic celebration of New York’s Queer underground. The book was released at public rooftop event, hosted by Troy Edwards, Kay Poyer and JEM. The house was packed from nearly start to finish while our incredible Djs- Tube, Izo.Zip, TamaGucci and Aimee Amour went back to back on the deck.

Created by Sean Perreira and Photo Chase, Construct Zine 3: Muses of Pride is a nearly 200-page photographic love letter to New York City’s queer underground. The book captures an electric constellation of local legends, rising stars, nightlife architects, performers, visual artists, DJs, activists, and cultural shapeshifters who define the city’s ever-evolving creative pulse. Through intimate portraits and cinematic imagery, Sean and Photo Chase document not just faces, but the spirit of a community built on reinvention, resilience, glamour, and radical self-expression.

Construct Zine 2: We’re Not Safe — print booklet celebrating the creative pulse of queer, POC, and marginalized voices shaping arts and culture. This limited-edition issue features an exclusive cover story and interview with Monica Bang, fronted by Kyra Tantao, shot by Sean Perreira, alongside a curated mix of artist features, photo editorials, and event coverage of the NYC nightlife and community — in this iteration including The Avid Society and LateXXXed.

Originally launched in 2020 as a passion project by Sean Perreira, Construct Zine was created to champion emerging and underrepresented talent during a time of distance and disconnection. Five years later, the publication returns in full form — with all-original content, in-person interviews, global curation, and exclusive photography that exists only in print.
